I continued to look for any opportunity to talk to or be with him. As time went on, we talked more and seemed to find time together. There were days when he semed less talkative, and I finally asked if he was alright. He motioned for me to a secure area of the store that had limited access. He justed blurted out that him and his wife were having serious problems. He said if it wasn’t for his 2 boys he would leave her. He said she was unstable, lazy and that she didn’t take care of the boys or him. He got very emotional and actually started to cry. At first I wasn’t sure what to do, but finally I went over and put my arms around him. He seemed extremely uncomfortable and pulled away from me. I put my arm around him and told him I was just trying to comfort him and be a friend. He seemed to relax and let me hold him in my arms. It was wonderful, he felt so good and smelt delicious. We talked for a while, and he told me he’d never been that close to any man.
He said he had male friends and would never have thought about hugging or holding them or have them hug him. He talked more about his relation with his wife. He also told me about his sexual hangups.
